So it’s currently February 22, 2007 and I’ve come to just realize something. This culture that so many of us scream as “Black Culture” isn’t really doing much in acknowledging Black History. Yeah sure there is the occasional Martin Luther King reference in a song or the Malcolm X (who’s anniversary of his assassination was yesterday) quotation of “By Any Means” twisted out of context to legitimize the said rapper’s gangster persona. Why is it that this culture that clearly has the ear’s of the youth isn’t using the power to promote our people’s achievements? Our History?

Somehow this slipped under my radar but yesterday the G-Dep & Loon team-up album entitled “Bad Boy” dropped. Note that this album is on the Siccness label minus the Diddy. Stay tuned for a review.

Damn I know most true Hip-Hop heads are riding with me as it gets closer and closer to the highly anticipated Mood Musik III. Joey is definately one Hip-Hop’s premier MC’s without a shadow of a doubt. Now reports have said that MMIII is suppose to drop some time this month (God Willing). And things are actually looking good for that seeing how he not only dropped “Unforgiven” but now finally the full version of “Ghetto America”.
