Drama # 1: Master P’s New Label

Well apparently in the wake of Imus, P has decided that he is going to create a new label, one that’ll play host to more “positive” Hip-Hop. I have no beef with this, if the “Ice Cream Man” is generally making this move out of concern. I mean in the resent years we’ve seen some big changes in P’s behavior. Getting his son a show on Nickelodeon, and also getting his dance on, on “Dancing With The Stars”. So in truth it doesn’t come as much of a shock I guess that Percy is doing this. My only thing is if he really intends on signing and promoting actually talent or grabbing cats who just don’t curse?

I forgot who said this so I’m just going to paraphrase. The situation isn’t about artist not cursing anymore, because it’s not a good solution. What it really is, is a case of a lack of real talent getting shine. Simply point, it’ll take nothing for whack artist that talk about all the b.s. to stop cursing if that what it takes to make money. Young Joc will just switch from “Dope Boy Magic” to “We Are The World”. The real problem is the lack of real artists that take this art form seriously out there in the spotlight. So if Master P is going to go and get the real artist and promote them more power to him. If he just gets a bunch of Silk The Shockers that just don’t curse, we have a problem. So only time will tell rather P should proceed or fall back.

I’m sure by now you’ve seen the video of what appears to be an out of his mind Beanie blasting Ye and Pharrel over there just style. Bean’s saying that “it’s not cool being them” and that their basically gay. This is a situation where I feel Beans should fall back. Okay yeah Kanye has questionable dress style. but so what? At least he’s not out there talking about killing and sell drugs. Kanye does Kanye, same as Pharrell. There not bothering anybody, their the lamest targets to be aiming at Beans. You calling them “not cool” cause their being themselves yet is it cool to go to jail for attempted murder? Is it cool to be ignorant and talk about the Hood like it’s the greatest place in the world. Now I’m a big Beans fan but on the real this whole situation is silly. Just looking at the video all I could think is “Cocaine is a hell of a drug”. I can’t shake the idea that maybe this is a case of someone not getting any beats? Even 50 was talking shit bout the way Ye dressed until Kanye hooked him up. And trust Curtis doesn’t have much room to talk about anyone else dress style :

Cam, Cam, Cam, man I’m not even going to get into this. I haven’t seen this much of a self-ether on camera since Ras Kass. Cam just fall back, we all know your in Jimmy’s back yard on “Punishment” from getting punched by Tru Life. Let’s stop fronting here man. Although I do enjoy the Cam’ Ron vs 50 Cent beef because it’s pure great entertainment. Simply because they both are aware of what this is. So in that case go on proceed Cam. So someone on Youtube did some real detective work and outted the girl from the Akon “grind” video. Apparently someone owes Akon a HUGE apology. It’s funny how quick the video got taken down, but luckily someone got it some the world could see. Akon’s getting the Kobe treatment and their treating the girl like a fucking saint. Let’s call a spade a spade, Fox needs to fall back and apologize to Akon. Verizon needs to proceed in give the man his money and Kathy Griffin who was shit talking Akon for “raping the girl of her innocence” needs to vanish of the face of the Earth.
