We Lost Another One…And I’m Not Talking Just A Rapper

I’m not refering to the lost of another MC in this culture, but that of another Black Man. Another one bites the dust do to the ignorance of the streets. The diease that erases us with ease. I’m sure by the end of the night there will be countless blogs on the death of Stack Bundles. As well as I am sure that the murals will be painted in Queens, shoutouts will be made on records, and the media will twist this to a Hip-Hop issue. Yet all I care about right now is another black man is dead. In my “Open Letter To Hip-Hop” (http://www.nobodysmiling.com/hiphop/editorial/87648.php )I wrote about how we need to stop the violence because we’re dropping like flies with wieghts on our shoulders. I’m tired of shedding tears, just as I’m sure many of you are. It’s a sad day again, a day that seems to never end because it happens all to often. How can we continue this trend of horror day after day. We were built for so much more. So as we in the Hip-Hop Community cry tears of Pain, let us as the Black Community take time to find an answer to the hurt. Let’s not make this another case of another Nigger Dead, cause we are so much more.

Lupe the Dealer???

Lupe Fiasco

It’s crazy I was telling my dude the other day I should write about how I thought Lupe was probably moving weight, but some other things occured to me especially after I read 1) the XXL Bol Blog and 2) heard an interesting quote on “Us Placers” that has the boy really convinced Lupe may have been getting his kick, push on for real…

First quote (shout out to Bol at XXL) “I push rocks, dawg.” - Lupe Fiasco, on his 2003 single “Pop Pop”

Lebron is a Man (pause, no fruity)

A year ago, I was arguing with some of my homies about how I thought D Wade was better than Bron Bron. I made said assertion because then, in the clutch, Wade-ums was money and on the contrary, Bron was passing first and looking a bit sheepish when the clock winded down plus Wade had the ring.
