Chamillionaire’s Back! Is Jay really Going At Wayne?

I was one of the many who got caught up thinking Jay was going at Lil Wayne on T.I.’s “Watch What You Say”, but the more I listened the more I thought. I don’t think Jay was aiming at Weezy, even though he may have some reason to. In fact his target was than likely Dipset and Game.

T.I. “Watch What You Say” feat Jay-Z

In particular is the line “lock em up in the booth with a halfa ounce of that cannibus

sittin back and watch the outlandish shit they betrayin (but)

soon as you see em they freeze up like in museums

them statues u like is that the dude who said he was gonna POP!

niggas get runnin before you finish your sentence

and then they back 2 riffin when they off in a safe distance

u like u was just here u disappeared like magicians in thin air

im like damn nigga at least keep it consistent”

now whose favorite Bi-polar MC does that sound like? Especial since Game keeps talking shit then back-peddling. I’m sure the leak of “My Bitch” probably errked Hov just a little. So who knows? I know most people feel it’s aim at Wayne because of the father line, and DNA in your music. Seeing how its widely consider that Wayne swagger jacked his whole style. Whatever, either way it was a dope ass verse.

On another note The South’s most humble Lyrical Beast Chamillionaire just drop a hot single featuring the legendary Slick Rick. It’s good to see The Ruler back in action. Something I’m noticing about Cham is he is really opting to put the “Single with a Message” back into the game. You know those joints that didn’t sound preachy that bumped in the club but had a real message. Joints like BDP “You Must Learn”. Never mind what some say “Not A Criminal” was dope, also he had the monster hit “Ridin’ Dirty”. Now we got “Hip-Hop Police”, people saying it would be a big hit but Cham himself said “fuck it” he’s not playing safe with this album. I’m not made at that, hopefully this will be a Classic. I sure believe dude has it in him.

Chamillionaire Cover’s:

Ultimate Victory

Mixtape Messiah 3

I guess Cham wasn’t kidding about doing a Mixtape Messiah 30

Digg!

Yeah that Jay-Z verse is one of the best this year. I really think that “Hip-Hop Police” is a classic. I’m a big fan of his and I can’t wait for Mixtape Messiah 3.

I don’t think Hov was talking to Weezy either. I think he was talking to a group of guys. He wasn’t speaking of one person, he was speaking in plural tense.

And as far as Cham…hopefully, he takes it back to his days before he got signed!

that jay line is garbage! Wayne will eat this cat up on the mic. Every mc uses influences from other artists. Even you losers “god”..

i think the jay verse was aimed at dipset, game and weezy. Its so apparent that its at wayne becasue of the dna and father line but also the booth and cannabis line, all wayne does is rap in the booth all day, he drops new shit every month and everytime you hear him or see him on youtube hes high as shit.

cham is wack and i’m tired of hearin his horrible attempts at tryin to sing. is he trying to make a gimmick of makin songs about the police, first ridin, now hip hop police, next album it will be another song about cops, it’s corny cause cham ain’t a street nigga, he’s a square. when he made ridin it was just an attempt to connect wit the d-boys it just happened to be his biggest hit, now he goin ride this police gimmick till the wheels fall of. lyically dude is wack and he sounds like an upgraded version of silk the shocker.

……….all I have to say is, ……….jay-z is still that boä! with all the shit he’s done this year alone, puts him head & shoulders above most, in and out the industry…….

Jayz needs to throw in the towel and leave rapping to the youngsters…
He’s outdated, washed up, and overrated. Go make that record label son. B4 u gotta go looking for a job rapping again

  16. 16 Real Hip Hop Jul 24th, 2007 at 9:59 pm

Chamillionaire says he is not a gangster but he is street and he is one of the best lyricist out now. He is not wack he is hard and the best rapper out. Ridin Dirty and Hip hop police have nothing to do with each other. Ridin Dirty is about cops. Hip hop police is about critics.
