i like Blue Magic alot, i could see it on NBA Live Soundtrack. Some of jays lines in this are straight fire (fishscales my veins like a pisces), but the flow i'm not really feeling. it goes with the song though, as opposed to Show Me What You Got, where he just spit with no discernible tempo over the hott beat.

i actually liked Kingdom Come. Wasn't Jay's best work, but it was Jay grown up. I'm not a fan of the coke rap. When it's done right, it works, but i'd rather hear something uplifting. BTW, am i the only one who's not really feeling that Blue Magic song? It's ok at best. But if the whole album is like that, I might have to pass on a Jay album for the first time

......kingdom come was just over a lot of peoples heads.... but its kind of jay's own fualt, because he built his fan base on stories of drug deals & street crime (which is the collective mental status of most hip hop listeners)...... I guess niggaz like being lied to...... it shows how dumbed down hip hop has become..... which can only mean the listeners themselves are dumb as well.....
