Is Roc-A-Fella’s Dynasty Reloaded?

Rocafella Records, The Dynasty continues, y’all die” – Jay-Z

So it seems with the rumblings of Jay-Z’s motion pictured inspired “American Gangster” being the child of Reasonable Doubt’s lyrical side and The Blueprints soulful-ness. The Roc seems ready to bounce back. Kanye West has already started things with his chart smashing 3rd solo release “Graduation”, which is already platinum. And now Roc artist singles are flooding the airwaves from the Freeway banger “Big Spender” ft Jay-Z (whose music video has been filmed), to Beanie Sigel’s “All Of The Above” featuring the pied piper of R&B R. Kelly. Young Chris’s album (Now Or Never) is apparently still in process and even Peedi has got a album in the works “Prince Of The Roc”. Only time will tell rather these joints will even see release dates, I hope so.

Is Roc-A-Fella back for the takeover? Things have been very shaky with the split between Jay, Dame and Biggs. Beanie had gotten locked up and the rest of the crew was in label limbo. The only bright spot was Kanye, while rumors circulated that Free was headed to G-Unit and Jay’s “Kingdom Come” received lukewarm love. Who knows what’s next now that things SEEM to be in place. Maybe a one day Jay/Dash reunion? As for now I’m just enjoying the moment and throwing my diamond in the air. It seems every once and a while a new “dynasty” in Hip-Hop comes through. So why not have The Roc come back?
Jay-Z “Blue Magic” ft Pharrell – American Gangster

Kanye West “Can’t Tell Me Nothing” Roc Remix ft Beans and Freeway

Freeway “Big Spender” ft Jay-Z – Free At Last

Beanie Sigel “All Of The Above” ft R. Kelly – The Solution

Young Chris “ “ ft Bobby Valentino – Now Or Never (joint needs a video asap)

Maybe will get a Roc The Mic Tour part II
p.s. where the fuck is Memphis Bleek and Jay need 44′4’s on the album :)

44′4s

Digg!

………..if the roc just get 60% up and running, that would be enough to take us back to rhymes that taste like the finest wine when you quote them, back when it was no question who ran new york, and who was the overall big homie of the game…. jay has allowed himself to be obscured into the shadows of emcees who shouldn’t be allowed to stand on the same stage as him….. but if there’s going to be a re-emergence of the roc, and jay has got his focus back on the rap game, then all that’s going to change….

If all the rocafella artist and the label heads co exhist as far as putting things out back to back with the right buzz the dynasty will be back at full force. It seems like its going that way now. Kanye album was a major jump start. I feel in my veins that jay-z classic is coming in november and after that just let the chips fall with free and beans. Only time can tell whether things will shape up for rocafella.
