Happy belated leap day Nobodysmiling community I hope you enjoyed leaping or whatever the hell you suppose to do on leap day. If you don’t already know I go by the name Spectacula, and I’m a up and coming emcee from Queens New York City. Now that the brief introduction is out of the way let me go right into it. WHAT THE FUCK HAPPENED TO MYSPACE? (Note the caps, this indicates frustration) I remember like this time last year I could go on myspace and leave a bulletin about having a cold or some shit and I would get like 500 messages of people giving me home remedies. Now I could put a bulletin up every minute for 48 hours and won’t get a response. I wouldn’t mind not getting a response if I was discussing having a cold but I’m trying to get people to listen to my mixtape, which is called Paid In Full hosted by DJ Noodles by the way (Cheap plug I know) and it’s got me feeling like Ghostface did a few weeks back. The Spam shit really ruined myspace. I remember like in 2006 reading something about myspace changing the world, and how it was pretty much the best thing since sliced bread. How could some comments about penis enlargement pills ruin the best thing since sliced bread? Guess those claims were premature (no pun intended). To the average person myspace in it’s height of “Greatness” was just a glorified black planet but to the unsigned artist such as myself myspace was like a glimpse of hope, letting you know that what your doing wasn’t a complete waste of time. Now not so much. And I know myspace is still somewhat popular but it will never be the same. With that being said Myspace or not the Mixtape is still a go.
