Sometime’s you got to own up to your mistakes or should I say assumptions. I?m American
and when this Duke case hit, I’m guilty as charged of thinking that these Duke kids were
well “guilty until proven innocent.” How can you blame me though? Look at the backdrop.
Duke University, White privileged Lacrosse players, the South, the 400 year-history of
white men taking advantage of black women… I mean I can go on forever.

Shouts to the people at Complex Magazine for their December/January issue. I mean, they do put out a good magazine monthly, but this issue is on steroids cause of the loose lips of Weezy F. Baby and Nas.
In the new issue, Nasir (As Baaalin would call him), reveals that he was offered a Presidential slot at Atlantic Records way before Def Jam even showed interest in signing him. The position would’ve put him directly in charge of guys like Jim Jones, who I believe is an A&R or A&R Director at the label. Imagine the guy who said he would smack Nas’s kufi off his head, having to answer to him. Not a good look. Nas’s revelation also came with a couple of choice words for the Harlem kid.

Jeezy went on the radio yesterday morning and settled alot of things on NY and Philly radio. On Wendy Williams’ show, he noted that he dropped “Thug Motivation 102″ from his LP title because he didn’t want it to be compared to his new LP, as he feels it’s a totally “different, yet better work.”
The snowman also made sure to clear the air on the charges that he’s being taken to court for child support. He flatly denied the claim that he wasn’t supporting his 10 year-old son. He also announced that both he and Akon are thinking of dropping a duo LP in the future.

Lil Wayne dissed Jay-Z in the new Complex which hits shelves December 12. Weezy shares the cover with Travis Barker. Little did we know that the “Fireman” had more fire left for Complex and directed it at Pharell, the Clipse, and Young Buck.
Buck, who was a former member of Cash Money and felt he was cheated out of money and put on the backburner, has gone on the radio numerous times and badmouth CMR. He focused on the whole kissing situation with Baby and Wayne. Recently, a track featuring Tony Yayo called “We Run the Streets” could be interpreted as a Weezy diss.

Or should I say Beyonce Carter? Well, according to today’s New York Post (newspaper sucks by the way), Jay-Z and Beyonce will get married in Anguilla next weekend. The bash is being billed as a 4-day celebration for Mr. Carter, but it’s really not. “Beyoncé is throwing Jay a four-day birthday party, but it’s really a wedding,” a source told The Post. It’s said that Hov and B picked Anguilla for the wedding earlier this year. So what’s left to ask? Bets please on the over/under of how long this holy union will last. I actually think these two could last, but that 13-14 year age difference is pretty steep for a young’n like B.

Out with the old, in with the new. Right now, this is a rumor so treat it as that. You
probably already read my piece on Lil Wayne’s comments towards Jay-Z which are confirmed “facts.” Though not as vicious, OZONE Magazine, asked T.I. his opinion on Nas’ whole “Hip Hop is Dead” campaign and this was the rubberband man’s response. (The Southern upheaval has begun)
