Sometimes I get bombarded with emails from artists or producers, and unlike most other sites, we at NobodySmiling, are not assholes and I know for sure that I will take the time to listen (although that may take a while) to anything dropped in my inbox. If it’s good - It’s good! Truthfully, you cannot deny the power of good music and ambition. IMO, if you love Hip-Hop, or music for that matter, you should feel like a kid when you find something hot that no one else got. It’s like getting those new Jordans before it hits the store, and showing it off the night before at the club (just don’t get em scuffed). Take DJ Mydus’ mixtape for instance. As this review from Spaise says, “Mydus’ got a huge task ahead of him as most cuts range in sound and year, and are obviously major hits.” Guess what? He delivers (plus he doesn’t yell at the beginning of every track). So if you’re an artist looking for good beats, or an established artist trying to find the next producer, I implore you to listen to this mixtape and holla at dude. If its wack, lemme know and Ill go get my ears checked, because I’ve been bumping his Cassidy remix 3 weeks str8. Anywayz, enuff of this writing shyt lets proceed…
