Fat joe has been puttin' it down since the 80s, granted his last couple of albums haven't been hot but damn cut him some slack compared to most of these new jacks out now can't compare on the streets or the mic. He just needs to keep it gutter and forget about making joints with nelly.

So what, fat joe gets his sh*t together and releases a street oriented album using hot beats (like there aren't more hot producers in the game right now than there have ever been) and the lyrics are just simply on par, and we're supposed to congratulate him? i don't care if this is fat joe's best album since j.o.e., the fact of the matter is he isn't really dropping more than a little bit of substance into his rhymes, which this reviewer been going ape sh*t over a few lines about pac, big, and rappers making up their sh*t (omg who has ever said that before?!). Wake up people, you deserve a lot more than this from hip hop, and you're not getting it. The flow is still wack, the cadence is horrible, and if he's still rhyming this far off beat, i gotta wonder what his studio sessions sound like before his engineers go in and edit that sh*t for hours upon end. Ever here your favorite rapper live and think that the sh*t sounded more than a little F*cked up? that's because he ain't got his engineers on stage with him.
