Khalid muhammad preaching to the suckers at the end of the video is poignant. I believe that khalid's fall from grace from the nation of islam parallels ice cube's departure from gangsterism, which unlike khalid, pushed him into the main stream. This video and his album was totally on point though, even if he didn't really offer an alternative lifestyle that he was willing to embrace in sincerity.
