I cant believe no one has commented on
this yet. Definitely a classic.
Classic.. Nothing more to say.
Krs is a true prophet!! this was done in
late 80's and it speaks for today's time
and beyond ,thats why he's one of the
illest or the illests ever
Krs and chuck d are in a class by
themselves they both kick facts! they
are both prophets!
The greatest emcee of all time hands
down
Krs one is an ole' skook classic that
will never die down. He set the stage
for a lot of the rappers today. Tru hip
hop!!!
Opps i meant to say ole skool
It is awonder when i read comments about
t.i being the greatest rapper ever who

I remember i was riding the bus and went
nowhere w/out my krs1 i went thru mad aa
batteries and a lotta angry bus drivers.
They couldnt kick me off the bus if they
wanted to though...they was luvin it 2
Krs one was ahead of his time. Hands
down one of the best mcs of all time!
My favorite hip-hip song of all time!
very few artists can be as clear and
crisp as krs-1 and practically no-one
except for nas, common and several other
marginal (meaning non-commercial)
artists can relay a thought-provoking
commentary in their music nowadays. Hip
hop is dead -- thanx nas...they need
wake up call!
01/07-this video puts chills in my
spine. This was the first video krs-1
made off of, "by all means necessary,"
right after scott larock was murdered.
Krs-1 has gone thru the industry without
half of his group since 1987. It was
tragic in hip hop cause their 1st album
came out of nowhere and blew the whole
world away. Their claim to fame is both
classical and tragic. Mind you, this was
when there was no mtv2, and rap video
shows. One had to see this on uhf, ralph
mcdaniels video music box. The radio was
not havin' rap on their stations, so if
until you bought the album, you had to
tape it off of kiss, or wbls. The hip
hop world back then, was much smaller,
far less comminucation, but way more
intense. Today, 99.9% of hip hop dont
rhyme anything like this. It's all
showing off everything but their rhymin
skills. Showoffs got robbed back then. A
lot of the fraud perpetratin' that go on
today would have not been allowed back
then. The masses have been brainwashed
into what's filtered thru the top ten
list in mainstreams. Legends have been
bamboozled for what they've fathered.
Now a days, in ny, you may hear rap
music on z-100(they used to diss rap
music very hard in the early 90's). I am
amused when i hear people say ny fell
off. In my opinion, the rest of the
world just can't keep up. Ny is too
advanced in rap music. Falling off is
impossible. This guy came out with a
song in the end of 87/beginning of 88,
and the lyrical content perfectly
applies to what is still goin on today,
20 years later. If
And i like the way they just cut off my
comment. That's great!!!!!!!!!!!
Genius 4 real
One of the best videos ever.
This is hip hop. I can't wait 'till it
comes back. Cause what they makin now is
so whak. These new rappers are all about
the money and don't care about makin
sence.
Krs-1 the teacher. I thank krs-1 for
bringing me to the word in his music.
Boogie down productions is what hip-hop
was supposed to be. My favorite bdp
joint is "why is that" from the ghetto
music album. May jah continue to bless
krs-!.
These lyrics were so sicc i listened to
this album at least 100 times yo im a
teacher scott is a scholar !!!!!!!!!a
lotta suckas with colorfull
names.......its funny though cause
before the video comes on you got a lil
Bia'ch(flip) and lil scrappy commercial
talkin about the money and bling they
wearin and got man phukk them fools we
need real hip hop!!!!!!!!!
Yes
There is no one in my opinion more dope
and truer than krs!
I agree. One of the top rap songs of all
time. Beautfiul. Still makes my heart
race.
