the 90s.i miss those days.

Gang starr is the best. The most
under-rated rap group of all time.
Guru's rhymes and lyrics from the 90s
are still better than those who raised
the bar for hip-hop lyrics in the 2000's
(jay-z, eminem). (check the enitre
albums). Plus, unlike nas (who has
similar lyrical talent) guru kicks
righteousness so f*cking hard from a
ghetto perspective that it reveals other
rappers who glorify criminal ways for
exactly what they are: a pathetic virus
on the community. I used to not like
gang starr's name -- but i can
understand it now -- teach truth and
rights to those who might otherwise be a
part of the problem. Nuff respect.
Gangstarr...the greatest in hip hop,
ever. You don't need to die to be a
truthful mouthpeice of the streets. Time
will tell.
