IT'S OFFICIAL - RAKIM LEFT Aftermath
It is offical - The Mic God Rakim has left the Aftermath Camp. There were differences between interscope/Aftermath and Rakim. Rakim's album is comin' out this year, but NOT on Interscope/Aftermath. There were rumors floating around previously about Dre wanting to produce more of the album than Rakim wanted. DJ Primier of Gangstarr stated that alot of recorded songs produced by Primo himself were not going to make the final cut because of Dre. See the following link for the interview with DJ. Premier:
