OutKast shooting HBO film May 2004

After winning three Grammy awards wins last week, OutKast are now getting ready to shoot their first film entitled: "Speakerboxx,".
The HBO movie will begin shooting in May, and will star Big Boi and Andre 3000. The duo are in the midst of writing music for the soundtrack, which will also serve as OutKast's next album.
"It's a 1930s period piece and musical," the film's writer and director Bryan Barber told Rolling Stone.
Barber shot the videos for the group's hit videos, "Hey Ya" and "Way You Move," and recently finished directing their next single, "Roses."
OutKast became the first hip-hop act to win album of the year for their double-album "Speakerboxxx/The Love Below." They also took home a Grammy for best rap album, and the track "Hey Ya!" was named best urban/alternative performance.
