Freeway's Ice City to Release Debut LP, Welcome To The Hood, 8-24-04

Though currently signed to Roc-A-Fella and working on his sophomore effort, Freeway introduces his extended all-star family Ice City (Freeway, Face Money, Bars, Hydro and extended family member Peddie Crack ) with the crews debut LP Welcome To The Hood.

The group grew up together in Philadelphia and their debut has actually been in the works before Freeway signed his deal with Roc-A-Fella . Making appearances on Welcome To The Hood are Oschino ("Philly Niggas'), Joe Budden who joins Freeway on "Ride Up" and the sultry vocals of Shena Grier. The LP also boasts production from Chad Hamilton (Young Gunz).
