FBI Abandons Notorious BIG Investigation

 The FBI has abandoned its investigation into the killing of rapper Notorious BIG. This means the mystery of who shot the 24-year-old in 1997 after a Los Angeles party may never be solved.
Agents spent 18 months looking into claims that a corrupt police officer was behind the killing of BIG - real name Christopher Wallace. But they found no basis for prosecution.
The officer, David Mack, allegedly plotted the killing with rap mogul Marion 'Suge' Knight. BIG's mother, Voletta Wallace, is suing the LAPD for wrongful death.
