GZA Hits The Road For Exclusive Shows

GZA/Genius will be hitting the road for a limited series of East Coast dates in connection with his highly anticipated forthcoming Babygrande debut album tentatively entitled “The GZA Presents…” due out later this year. The album will feature lyrical contributions from high profile Wu-Tang members and other such Wu affiliates.

With supporting performances from staple underground acts J-Live, Vast Aire and C-Rayz Walz, GZA’s return to the stage for these exclusive East Coast engagements will be sure to electrify rabidly loyal Wu-Tang
supporters as well as the broader hip-hop community at large.

An original member of The Wu-Tang Clan, one of the most influential hip-hop groups of all time, GZA/Genius is renowned for his lyrical dexterity, flawless delivery and the ability to paint a picture with words. Indeed, GZA is considered by many hip-hop aficionados to be the most adept linguist in the entire Clan, let alone hip-hop at large. In the words of Wu-Tang’s RZA: “GZA’s the only one with a style that actually instilled fear in me.”

With a solo catalog dating back to 1991 that includes such classics as “Words From The Genius,” the gold-selling “Liquid Swords,” “Beneath The Surface,” and the most recent “Legend of the Liquid Sword” as well as
numerous Wu-Tang Clan group albums and solo releases, the late 2005 release of “The GZA Presents…” is poised to reassert GZA’s well-deserved reputation as one of the most cerebral and skillful rappers of his time.
