MTV2 will head to the windy city this month for a special edition of its popular $2 Bill Concert Series featuring acclaimed rapper Fat Joe along with T.I. and Juvenile. Joining them on stage will be fellow artists Mike Jones, Paul Wall, Webbie, Ja Rule, Jadakiss along with several other surprise guests. The concert will take place Thursday, May 26th at the Vic Theatre in Chicago, IL. The $2 tickets for the show will go on sale Saturday, May 21st at 12noon at The Vic Theatre Box Office (3145 North Sheffield, Chicago, IL). Tickets must be purchased in cash, with a four ticket maximum per purchaser, and attendees must be 18 years of age or older. Tickets can also be won by listening to WGCI, or by visiting George's Music Room, (3915 W. Roosevelt Road, Chicago, IL). Visitors to George’s Music Room will also be eligible to receive an MTV2 prize package including passes to meet one of the artists.

Many of the artists performing in this special $2Bill concert can also be heard on the Atlantic/Grand Hustle soundtrack for the upcoming feature film “Hustle & Flow.” Produced by John Singleton (Boyz N’ the Hood, Poetic Justice, Baby Boy) and the Winner of the Sundance Film Festival, “Hustle & Flow” is the redemptive story of a Memphis street hustler who struggles to break out of his gritty world to fulfill his life long dream of becoming a respected rap musician. He teams up with his middle class friend who is stuck in an office routine having missed the opportunity of becoming the music producer he always wanted to be. Together they have one last chance to follow their dream. “Hustle & Flow” is written and directed by newcomer Craig Brewer. It stars Terrence Howard, Anthony Anderson, Taryn Manning, Ludacris, Taraji Hensen, DJ Qualls and Isaac Hayes. “Hustle & Flow” will premiere in theaters nationwide on July 13th, and the soundtrack will hit stores on June 28th.
