Lil Kim Perjury Trial Footage Sale
Thursday, May 26, 2005 By: brooklyniteOne
A production company is accusing brooklyn rapper turned model Lil' Kim of trying to sell video footage of her recent perjury trial without proper authorization. According to "The New York Daily News," Red Moxie owns the rights to the trial footage and reportedly has a tentative deal with an unnamed media outlet to air it after Kim's sentencing on June 24th.
Red Moxie claims Lil Kim's representatives have been using the footage to pitch a reality television series even though she does not own the footage. Lil Kim’s representatives deny all claims.
Kim’s attorney L. Londell McMillan spoke to the New York Daily News and stated "[Lil Kim is] currently in a state of remorse, taking responsibility for the jury verdict and instructions by the judge." Attorney McMillan added, "She has no interest at this time to exploit any such footage, but instead, would rather focus on finishing up the recording of her new album and spending time with her loved ones."
