Dave Chappelle Crazy Like A Fox

While everyone wonders exactly what’s up with Dave Chappelle and wait for the new season of shows to begin airing with a bit of uncertainty, Chapelle’s posting record breaking numbers.

The Chappelle Show season 2 Uncensored DVD has smashed Seinfeld record of best selling DVD of a TV show in history. According to comedy central Chappelle’s season 2 DVD sold an unprecedented 500,000 copies on its first day of release (may 24).

What’s the numbers for the first week of sales after such a staggering release date you ask?

Approximately 1.2 million. Comedy Central has not release any news on production of season 3, with the exception that the season has been delayed. Its amazing that with numbers like the ones Chappelle’s posting that the big wig out of the loop executives at other networks have not tailored programming to the Urban/Hip Hop community.
