Kanye West & P Diddy Headline Video Music Awards

Kanye West

Kane West is scehduled to perform a single of off his upcoming album Late Registration at the 2005 MTV Video Music Awards.

The awards will take place in Miami and theatrics at the 2005 MTV Video Music Awards will include celebrities who will arrive in their yachts, and will also pull up in their personally owned cars staging the first ever car show on the MTV Video Music Awards red carpet.

P Diddy will host the event and the awards will feature a original music score by Lil Jon .

Even more curious is the inclusion of two categories for Hip-Hop related video awards. Rap Video of the year, and Hip-Hop video of the year are seperate awards which begs the question on what MTV considers Hip-Hop.
