Warren G Honored by Long Beach

Long Beach native and west coast Hip-Hop star Warren G is being honored by the City of Long Beach in a weeklong celebration that will begin with an opening day ceremony including a presentation by the Mayor.
Warren G and will perform a concert at the Queen Mary Sunday, August 6 from 7 p.m. - 11 p.m. at the Queen Mary Seawalk. The Queen Mary is a ship that features retauraunts and a 365-room on-board hotel. In honor of the event, Long Beach residents can obtain free entry to the Queen Mary on August 5.
Special well-known guests will also take part in the Benefit which will support the Willie McGinest Freedom School Education Enrichment Program in Long Beach.
Warren G droped his debut single "Regulate,"in 1994 and then the accompanying album Regulate...G Funk Era. Warren G's second album eventually went triple platinum.
Warren G will release a new CD in the fall of 2005.
