By: John Kennedy

Beanie SigelBeanie Sigel was released from the Federal Correctional Institution in Fairton, New Jersey at 9:00 am this morning after serving the greater part of his one-year sentence.

Sigel was met at the Gates by his mother, Michelle Brown-Derry, his fiancé Melissa, and DDMG's Damon Dash and Kareem "Biggs" Burke.

But now that he is home don’t think he is going to sit back and relax for too long. Beanie plans on hitting the road immediately to promote his upcoming DVD, “The B. Coming of Beanie Sigel.” The video will offer insight into the besieged rapper’s life.

The disc will serve as a visual companion to his critically-acclaimed album, The B. Coming. The video will feature uncut versions of “The Truth,” “The Trial” and “House Arrest,” three documentaries that aired on BET.

“The Truth” is Siegel’s self-narrative that sums up his life and career from his beginnings on the streets of South Philly to his eventual rise to stardom on the Rocafella roster. “The Trial” shows the struggles Beanie endured during his highly publicized trial on federal gun charges. “House Arrest” takes a look at the month Beanie spent at Damon Dash’s NYC apartment as Beans worked diligently to complete his album before serving his sentence. In addition, The B. Coming of Beanie Sigel will also include the video for Sigel’s hit, “Feel It In The Air.”
