Fugees Release First Single Off Reunion Album

The surprising Fugees performance at June’s BET Awards was not one and done. According to VH1.com sources at Columbia/Sony say the celebrated trio has been working on a reunion album for two months.

The unnamed record is tentatively set for a December 27th release. Collaborations have not been announced, but The Fugees have leaked a song called “Take It Easy”. No word yet on what prompted the reunion or the decision to make a third album.

Their sophomore effort “The Score” was one of the most critically and commercially successful releases of 1996 and is hailed by many as a hip hop classic.

I love the fugees and i cant wait for their return. But i must say on the bet awards lauryn hill did not do too well she seems cracked out to me, and it is sad because she is one of the females who really represented in this game. But whateva i love the fugees and im glad they are coming back.
