VH1 Honors More Hip Hop Pioneers

Hip Hop HonorsTonight VH1 airs their second annual “Hip Hop Honors”. The program features hip hop trailblazers Ice-T, Big Daddy Kane, Grandmaster Flash and the Furious Five, and Salt N’ Pepa.

LL Cool J receives a life time achievement award and witnesses tribute renditions of “I’m Bad” and “Doin’ It”, by Nelly. Snoop Dogg and Ice-T hold down the West Coast with duets of the latter’s classic material. Other performances include a two fold reunion of Salt N’ Pepa and En Vouge doing “Whatta Man”, as well as Kanye West, Ludacris, and Faith Evans paying homage to the late Notorious B.I.G.. It all starts at 9pm.

The best part of da show was the big daddy kane tribute. T i looked a bit timid but once black thought hit da mic it was on... Common kept the energy high too. But when daddy hit the stage and did his old routine!! that set it off..
