The front line of one of hip hop’s most influential collections, Wu Tang Clan, is still at work. According to sohh.com Cappadonna is working on “Transition”, the follow up to his 2003 LP “The Struggle”, which dropped while he worked as a cab driver in Baltimore. There is no set release date.
Ghostface is preparing his second Def Jam release and fifth overall, entitled “Fish Scale” for this December. He is also working on a second Theodore Unit compilation, coming on the heels of his protégé Trife Da God’s premier: “718: Stapleton to Somalia”. Raekwon is currently recording a ten year anniversary album for his acclaimed debut “Only Built 4 Cuban Linx”.
Gza has just finished a collaborative album with Cypres Hill’s DJ Muggs and is also working on a mixtape with indie label Babygrande Records. Both are set for October releases. Finally, Rza is currently doing production work for Method Man’s fourth solo effort. No word on a time table for another Wu Tang album.
