LudacrisXM satellite radio, the country’s largest station of it’s kind, will soon feature a show hosted by Atlanta based emcee Ludacris.

“Disturbing The Peace Presents Ludacris’ Open Mic” will include exclusive interviews with other emcees, as well as play lists compiled by the multi-platinum artist himself. Die hard Ludacris fans might recall that Chris Bridges got his break as an on air personality at Atlanta’s Hot 97.

The author of titles like “Chicken & Beer” and “Back for the First Time” wants to use this venture, “to expose our audience to a wider variety of music and ideas.”

According to Eric Logan, executive vice president of programming for XM, “Ludacris’ passion for and knowledge of music, along with his remarkable talent as an artist, are a natural fit with XM.”

Since his 2000 debut Ludacris has sold over fifteen million records. Luda is scheduled to appear on Oprah in his native Chicago on October 6th. “Disturbing Tha Peace Presents Ludacris’ Open Mic” will begin airing weekly in January 2006 on XM’s uncut hip-hop channel RAW (XM channel 66).
