50 Cent and Young Buck's 'G-Unity'
Friday, October 14, 2005 By: Michael Ivey
50 Cent and Young Buck will contribute $125,000 to education efforts in the south.
The Nashville Alliance for Public Education has been granted $25,000 and Teach for America Houston will receive $100,000.
These gifts come via the G-Unity Foundation in order to aid Katrina recovery efforts. Displaced college students will benefit from the generous grants. G-Unity seeks to help low income students in their pursuit of higher education and support extracurricular activities such as The Boys Choir of Harlem and the Jam Master Jay Foundation for Music.
