The Inc. recording artist Ja Rule joins Chiropractor Dr. Thomas Haveron later this month to fund the 1st Annual Costume Benefit for the Brain Injury Association of New Jersey, and L.I.F.E. Camp Inc. of Jamaica, NY. Set to take place at Newark’s Guitar Bar on 181 New Jersey Railroad Avenue, the event is hosted by Power 105 on air Ed Lover.
People such as boxer Zab Judah, NY Knicks guard Stephon Marbury, NY Giants defensive end Michael Strahan, and former NY Met Keith Hernandez are reportedly due to appear. Ja rule says of the benefit, “with our help LIFE Camp and BIANJ will continue to change the lives of many young people.”
The BIANJ is apart of the national group intent on improving quality of life for brain injury victims. L.I.F.E. Camp Inc. (Love Ignites Freedom & Education) aims to straighten out troubled teenagers and reduce youth violence by teaching consequential thinking, goal setting, conflict resolution, and self esteem building. All refreshments for the benefit come courtesy of the Spanish Pavillion Restaurant and the Guitar Bar itself.
The 1st Annual Costume Benefit for the Brain Injury Association of New Jersey, and L.I.F.E. Camp Inc. takes place October 30th.
