New Information on 1st Pac Shooting
Friday, October 21, 2005 By: Michael Ivey
Syndicated columnist/author Ethan Brown claims to have revelatory facts regarding Tupac’s shooting in 1994. The early morning incident at Quad Studios in NY was reported as a random robbery, but Tupac always attributed the five shots to Biggie and P. Diddy, who were upstairs when it occured.
Now Brown says his upcoming Vibe article sheds light on the real story, through an extensive interview with Jimmy “Henchmen” Rosemond. Rosemond is the head of Czar Entertainment (The Game, Mario Winans etc.). He reportedly met Tupac in the early nineties, when the latter attempted to make various guest appearances on records to pay for legal troubles. Rosemond was one accused by Tupac after the Quad shooting. Brown says, “the access I got to Jimmy Henchmen was unbelievable. I interviewed Jimmy nearly half a dozen times and he was remarkably open with me about what happened that night.”
Brown is also working on a book called “Queens Reigns Supreme : Fat Cat, 50 Cent, and the Rise of the Hip Hop Hustler”, which discusses the connection between various Queens drug dealers and the hip hop industry. The Quad shooting is a subject in the book. Ethan Brown’s Vibe article comes this December.
