This is gonna be the truth. If anybody ever gets a chance, go to a concert where the roots are playing or featured. They give a different feel to a hip hop concert. You move from the beginning to the end. Worth any money you would have to pay.

I hate the fact that the roots are not bigger than they are because they are one of the best hiphop groups/band ever lived in my opinion i love them seen them live recently in london's shepards bush empire they were on stage for like 2 hours and 15 mins they croud serfed and sh*t it was crazy fun kirk was awsome the best gig i have ever seen it blew my mind i will never feel the same about a hiphop gig again amazing. But i hope the fact that them being on def jam and tham getting more promotion and gettng to a wider audience wont make them to commercial i dont like it when artist are too big it kinda takes away from the music tv interviews and videos focusing more on the image and kids especially white kids (im white) but you know what i mean like the little 50 cent fans who jump on the bandwagon dont even like them just skim the vocals and dont even listen to them really what is such a shame because they have always dropped knowledge, but maybe not as 9/10 of all the music on the tv and music channels and radio is all watered down bootie shaking commercial manuafctured bubble gum sweet sh*t so maybe thay wont because good music don't sell nowday's i mean all the good artist i know of nowdays is mad underground for example edan that dude is soooooooooooooooooo lyrical and ohmega watts is dope to and few other artists to and on the other side look at the r&b out it's all pop but if you look hard enough there a few diamonds in dad ruff i mean flowetry the singer i forget her name has one of the be
