Busta Rhymes Cuts Locks
Saturday, November 26, 2005 By: Melanie J Cornish
After 15 years, Busta Rhymes has finally cut off his dreads. The notorious Brooklyn rapper has been known for making groundbraking tracks like 'Make It Clap' and 'Break Ya Neck' started on the road to fame back in the eighties with the formation of Leaders of the New School.
The Leaders consisted of Busta and three fellow schoolmates, Charlie Brown, Dinco D and Cut Monitor Milo and were snapped up by Elektra pretty much as soon as their career started. Busta and his boys went their seperate ways in 1993 after their sophmore project TIME was released. Busta however went onto solo stardom with his Flipmode Squad and his album at his new home Aftermath is expected to drop in the first half of 2006.
Watch here as he takes scissors to his dreads and eradicates a huge part of his hip-hop identity
