Doom is easily hip-hop's savior. To bad hip hop is already dead.

Doom is near-brilliant producer, but i can do without his overly verbose flows and muddled metaphorical noodling. If doom stays behind the synths and wheels of steel and ghost delivers the same abstract mile-a-minute flow that made supreme clientele such a banger, this could be something to watch out for. Also -- who is still sleeping on doom? his fanbase has shifted from the m.i.c days, for sure... The man is a name-dropper in white suburban homes everywhere after the dangerdoom album. He's become the rapper for heads who don't like rap... His new material is too safe for the street, heady enough to please the aimchair philosopher (read: stoner) and too playful to be taken seriously. Mf grimm is the real unsung hero, to be sure.
