50 Cent Announces Retirement Plans
Friday, January 20, 2006 By: Michael Ivey
G-Unit captain Curtis "50 Cent" Jackson expressed his desire to stop making albums soon according to the BBC. "I can tell you now you're only gonna get two more albums from me," he said recently. 50 says he doesn’t know what he’ll do after he fulfills recording obligations to Shady Aftermath Records.
The star of the recently released bio flick "Get Rich or Die Trying" isn’t sure if he’ll pursue film but says, "I think I wanna stay in the music business, just behind the scenes." 50 Cent assisted in writing, producing and rapping on singles for all four G-Unit solo albums besides his own. He and Jay-Z plan to work together on Freeway’s upcoming LP as well. 50 feels that boss Eminem may be nearing the end too. "I think, maybe, I can get him to make a record with me, but I'm not sure he'll make a record by himself again." "Get Rich or Die Trying" comes to DVD later this year.
