Ludacris Guests on 'Law & Order'

Atlanta based emcee Chris "Ludacris" Bridges is expanding his acting resume to television with an appearance on "Law & Order: Special Victims Unit" next month. "When I was approached to work on 'SVU' and read the script, there was no way that I could turn down this amazing opportunity," he said.
Ludacris will play hip hop pioneer Ice-T’s ("Detective Finn") nephew in an episode that airs March 28th. "The character was so rich and the story line so complex that I knew it was something I had to do," said Ludacris. In 2004 he co-starred as a philosophic car jacker in the award winning film "Crash" and acted last year in "Hustle & Flow." Ludacris has also appeared in "2 Fast 2 Furious" (2003) and "Wash" (2001).
Dick Wolf’s "Law & Order" franchise has aired on NBC since 1990. "Law & Order: Special Victims Unit" is in its’ seventh season. Ludacris’ music career has produced five solo LP’s and two collaborative albums with his "Disturbing the Peace" collective.
