Ludacris Guests on 'Law & Order'

?uestloveAtlanta based emcee Chris "Ludacris" Bridges is expanding his acting resume to television with an appearance on "Law & Order: Special Victims Unit" next month. "When I was approached to work on 'SVU' and read the script, there was no way that I could turn down this amazing opportunity," he said.

Ludacris will play hip hop pioneer Ice-T’s ("Detective Finn") nephew in an episode that airs March 28th. "The character was so rich and the story line so complex that I knew it was something I had to do," said Ludacris. In 2004 he co-starred as a philosophic car jacker in the award winning film "Crash" and acted last year in "Hustle & Flow." Ludacris has also appeared in "2 Fast 2 Furious" (2003) and "Wash" (2001).

Dick Wolf’s "Law & Order" franchise has aired on NBC since 1990. "Law & Order: Special Victims Unit" is in its’ seventh season. Ludacris’ music career has produced five solo LP’s and two collaborative albums with his "Disturbing the Peace" collective.

First off F*ck bill o'reilly...... Not all rap or artist are on some negative sh*t. And im glad luda is doin his thang. ----im not a big fan of southern rap----(for the ignoramuses out there) dont get ruffled, thas just isnt my pref; but i like luda cuz he stays tru to what he does & he has his own style, and i wish other rappers would do more of the same. As far as law and order im glad hes doing it elevating his career to the next level eventually openin more doors for more of us. I respect that werd!
