I dont know about anyone else on this post, but to me jay is the best rapper to ever grab a mic. His flow, charisma, timing, and especially his lyrics are all amazing. But that isnt what makes him so great to me. Its how he does it. In a lot of interviews artists who have worked with jay tell about how he actually goes about rapping on his songs. He baisically freestyles them! he never writes anything down and he does it all in one or two takes. That is incredible. He can form entire songs, and classic songs at that, in his head. I think that nas, jay, big, and pac all belong in a group above everyone else. No one in the entire game could do what any of them have done. I know, kinda off topic, but i just felt it should be said.

Trinnativepr it's cool man. I was trying to understand where marv dogg was comming from. As a native of the south i didn't really get into "hip-hop music" until i was like 15. I emphasize the term because some people confuse hip-hop with crossover rap. Moving out the hood is also my dream cuz i wanna better myself. I don't think anyone inspire to write music like nas not to say that there isn't anyone else that is not inspirational. I wouldn't mind seeing nas going multiplatinum. There is people wanna see hip-hop represented but don't wanted the mc successful. It's not about making money but to expand and put people on you have to be successful.
