I really don't understand the court system especially in matters like this!...........if mos def is the only one providing for his five children; than why don't the courts give him the children and bypass all this bullsh*t from these money hungry Bia'ches! and why do they always award these chicken heads ridiculous amounts of money to raise kids, when everyone knows it doesn't take that much!!! its becoming more & more evident when a brother makes that much money, he should start looking in one of those foreign catalogs for a wife! i never hear about those women putting their men through this kind of bullsh*t! he was short 2,000 dollars, the Bia'ch got eight thousand, and she's still complaining! damn!

It seems as though many of you are paying child support... Perhaps we have everything backwards here. Too often life is created because people don't take the proper precautions. Or life is created out of the proclamation that each mate loves one another when in all actuality, they don't; they don't know what love really is... Children should not be created just because two people love each other. Being a parent is more than that (and more than i'm ready to explain at this moment) a child's life is worth more than some 8k or 10k or whatever material value so biased judicial system can determine... Actually i'm done writing, i can go on for quite a long time so my point is stop having so many children, because the cycle will continue... Lets break this cycle. We should be tired of the system treating "us" horribly.

Nobody needs five kids this day and age. Unless mos wants full custody (which he obviously doesn't) then he needs to cough up the cash. Paying child support in full on time doesn't make someone a good parent. It's actually the very least you can do for your kids if you aren't going to be there every single day to raise them. If they live in new york, it's reasonable with rent being about $36,000 a year for a simple livable space in manhattan, private schooling another $20,000 a child, and other living expenses including food ($400/month=$4800, electricity (about $700 a month-$8400), clothing $3000/year. That's not including extracurricular activities (dance, soccer, etc.) probably 1,000 per child. Let's see....36000 + 40000 + 4800 + 8400 + 3000 + 1000= 93,200. If the mom would like to start a college savings or have a money reserve for the kids, there's the rest of the money.

Wow so let me get this straight so many men on here are pissed thinking this woman is a gold digger when she's receiving 2,000 less than what the court appointed. That's like being short on your mortage. Is the bank suppose to be happy that you paid 80%? of if your car payment is 500 a month, should the finace company accept 400 a month? these women don't decide what they should be paid, the courts do. I feel all of you on what you said. 10,000 a month is a lot and he should have field for joint custody or something but why is it that you all have to refer to the women as b*tches or hoes or broads or dames or whatever. But when it comes down to it. If he agreed to 10gs a month, then thats what she expects him to pay. Omfg.....i can clearly see who are the dead beats or potential dead beats on here!if he was ordered to pay 10g's then it is obvious that he provided some type of financial statement that shows that he can afford these payments.when you go to court for child support, the judge calculates payments based on a percentage for each child,this varies state to state (in ny it is 17% for 1 child and increases with the # of children).this does not apply to incomes that exceed 85,000,there is a different calculation that applies to these incomes.the judge will also take into consideration the life style that the child had before the parents separated or divorced.
