However, anyone can see spike needed a forum to speak on and 50/g-unit is a convenient public target. Anyone who's been around hip-hop (spike) knows the target of your comments is gonna clap back, creating even more buzz, especially if your target is 50. Spike is trying to make himself relevant to a new hip hop generation. The 15 - 25 year old crowd doesn't really know spike's work like those in their 30's. He's trying to create a buzz because his movies aren't generating the interest they used to back in the day. Denzel's helping old buddy out by starring in his upcoming film.

What the hell is going with hip hop these days? i'm jamaican-american. I was born and grew up most of my childhood in nyc (brooklyn).
