I ran accross this webpage after doing a search online, i have read your comments in response to this unfortunate situation. Please allow me to set a few things straight. At no time did pimp c, nor mike jones involved with the situation that was preexisting when they drove down the street in port arthur. Kalliope4eva, i ensure you that it is okay to lol, these gentleman were true professionals and the video shoot ran very smoothly and was alot of fun. As much as i wish we could turn back the hands of time and prevent the whole situation which occured, none of us have control over what people that we don't know, have never seen before and have nothing to do with will do in their own actions. Simply put, the men that were shooting and the men in the impala that hit pimps car were strangers to all of us. It truly was a freak accident. So, to whoreson i say, yes, i do believe that people have over time and will continue to try to discredit hip-hop, but the unfortunateness to this is that the account that you have read is true, and there is no slander in factual accounts of events. Wednesday evening, there were slanderous and incorrect accounts and i wanted to correct that. I released an official statement because my phone has been ringing off the hook since wednesday night with calls from labels, artists and producers and regular folks from around the country.
