According to online reports, G-Unit’s DJ Whoo Kid will in two weeks travel to Michael Jackson’s home in Bahrain to retrieve new tracks, some of which may become 50 Cent/Jackson collaborations. A spokesperson for 50 Cent revealed that the multi-platinum selling rapper/actor has yet to commit to Whoo Kid’s forthcoming mix tape or Jackson’s next LP, being released through his new record label, Two Seas.
The lead single from the album, "Now That I Found Love," will reportedly be released Nov. 21. The song is being produced by "Thriller" engineer and co-producer of the "Dangerous" album Bruce Swedien. Two Seas is a joint venture between Jackson and Sheikh Abdullah Bin Hamad Al-Khalifa. English record executive Guy Holmes is the label’s CEO and is also responsible for handling Jackson’s other business ventures.
Reports surfaced in March about Whoo Kid’s visit to Bahrain ruler Sheikh Abdullah Bin Hamad Al-Khalifa’s home and subsequent conversation with a visiting Jackson. The ‘King of Pop’ reportedly expressed a desire to change his image and work with both Kanye West and 50 Cent. Whoo Kid said he later set up a phone conversation with Jackson and 50 Cent to get the ball rolling.
