Another rap shooting, another man dead. Houston rapper ".hawk" now. T.i. Assistant in cincinatti. Last week ..... "gravy" at hot 97 radio new york.... Da week before that ".proof" in detroit. Who's next? this is just one month, mind you. Summer aint even start yet. Whoa! wake up people....god is angry. Stop the madness in the music or we gonna be having these forums every week. Peace.

But unless we began to raise our expectations of individual excellence and lower our tolerance and acceptance of this type of madness it will only get worse. The more this goes on the more the world will judge us based on these undiciplined, bad apples. This shooting incident is sort of indicative of the overall life and times of being in cincinnati. Everyday on the news you see stories of people constantly getting their wigs blown off in broad daylight whether its in the burbs or downtown with witnesses readily saying "they haven't seen anything." it's not only sociological elements whether economical or political that fosters these type of acts of violence but one big reason is that in cincinnati there is absolutely nothing at all for young adults to do, especially african americans. In reality the two clubs ti's entourage visited are the only clubs in cincinnati! this city is not built for us at all, and this ti event was promoted as very big and important event and i doubt any events like this will be planned in the forseeable future. The city was slowly rebounding from the riots and the boycott, the jazz fest just came back last year after a four year layoff, but these events have definitely set the city back. Entertainers will think twice before coming here, nevertheless the irony is that these same performers will continue to buy cincinnati reds and bengals merchandise to match their outfits for their videos even if they've never been here!

Haters are always lurking.....thats some wyld shyt....i never understood how cats knock 50 for having an army...i mean, it looks like the "hood" targets anybody thats getting paper. Period. 50 going about it the right way, better safe than sorry.

Let the police handle the war with goons and wannabee thugs....if your really making moves they would have to get a rocket launcher to touch you...do that, because haters are sitting waiting on that unemployment check..or the first of the month and they have too much idle time to plot some trash like this. This is why we need to dead the whole "stop snitchin" campaign. How can we expect the police or anybody else to care about violence in our community if we don't care enough about ourselves to turn in the criminals? trying to rob someone or test someone because of what they may rap about on their records is just dumb. Now we have one more brother lost to the grave and probably a few more to a jail cell when they catch the shooters.
