Dipset dropping new projects, “Killa Season 2” film
Monday, August 14, 2006 By: Kenny Rodriguez
Diplomats head honcho Cam’ron is reportedly filming scenes for the sequel to his makeshift flick, “Killa Season,” which is set to pick up where the first movie left off.
Cam is also working on an accompanying soundtrack for the upcoming film, both of which are scheduled for release around December.
Meanwhile fellow Dip Set member Jim Jones has finalized the title of his next album, “Bright Lights, Big City,” which hits stores this fall.
Around the same time, Duke Da God is hosting a Diplomats compilation LP centered on up-and-comers Hell Rell and J.R. Writer.
“Me and Hell Rell just inked a deal over at Asylum Records for a compilation album for me and him,” J.R. Writer said in a previous NobodySmiling interview. “It’s called ‘Double Trouble.’”
Juelz Santana is also dropping his long-awaited collaboration with New Orleans rapper Lil Wayne, titled “I Can’t Feel My Face,” which will probably be released as a mixtape rather than an official album.
