I heard the album its an average album. What benefits it is that in the age of mediocrity it shines. He pretty much does the same style over and over and there is no substance to his songs other than dope. I hope this cat can expand his mind. ^and, it's all about timing. It's not like he was really going up against anyone last week in any genre. And, it's not like he's all that either. A couple of nice singles, a few songs to bob your head to for a few months - it's all good depending on your taste. A lot of people feel that 187,000 in sales is indicative of a weak hip-hop presence, but if so, the same can be said for pop, r&b, country, etc. The tide ebbs & flows.

I can see why it was #1 with his production and "everyday i'm hustlin" helped out a lot. I am feelin a few tracks heavy, no doubt. But like it has already been said, his lyrics aren't that impressive...
