Stones Throw Reaches 10 Years, UK Shows

MadlibStones Throw – the indie label which houses Madlib, Jay Dee, and Madvillain recordings – is celebrating its tenth-year anniversary by hosting three concerts in the UK.

The three-day event, dubbed “Stones Throw Live,” will feature performances by producer Madlib, rapper Percee P, and DJ J. Rocc on the ones-and-twos.

The California-based roster will be heading to Manchester (Oct. 4), London (Oct. 5), and Leeds (Oct. 8).

Founded by Peanut Butter Wolf in 1996, the label has released several acclaimed albums including MF Doom and Madlib’s “Madvillainy,” J Dilla’s “Donuts,” and Quasimoto’s “The Unseen.”
