Houston-based label Swishahouse Entertainment has announced its fourth quarter lineup, including projects by platinum-selling rappers Paul Wall and Mike Jones.
A compilation album featuring material by artists Paul Wall, Archie Lee, and Coota Bang is slated for an October release, titled “The Day Hell Broke Loose III.”
Meanwhile Lil KeKe, of Screwed Up Click fame, will be dropping his album “Love By Few, Hated By Many” in November. Shortly afterwards Paul Wall’s forthcoming LP, “Get Money Stay True,” will hit stores in December.
Despite the resignation of T. Farris, the former president of Swishahouse who recently started his own TF Records company, the southern indie label plans to continue setting trends.
“We are all family, and we are supporting T. Farris one hundred percent, and his advances as an entrepreneur in the game,” said Michael ‘5000’ Watts, co-CEO of Swishahouse. “We are all one big family with multiple opportunities.”
In related news, Swishahouse artist Mike Jones is currently working on his upcoming film “American Dream,” which chronicles the Houston rapper’s rise to fame.
The biopic is co-produced by Asylum Records and Warner Bros. Records, and production is scheduled to wrap up on Sept. 15 following two weeks of filming.
As Jones keeps busy, he is also preparing his sophomore LP, “The American Dream,” and recently opened a night club in his Houston hometown called Club IceAge.
