Who cares how much money he makes off the album..he isn't doin it for that. Lupe makes good music and its important in this day of age with chicken noodle soup on the radio..he also makes more money off endorsements than anything..and for you broke ass marks out there complaining..he's makin more than you ever will.

This album is an instant classic. I don't remember illmatic going platinum in a week. I don't even think illmatic sold 80,000 its first week but in hindsight, most of us claim that illmatic is a classic. Lupe could be one of the best cats to come out in the last 10 years. Time will tell.
