Jay-Z's New Single Just Part of the Package

Jay-Z's Just Blaze produced lead single 'Show Me What You Got' leaked to radio and Internet sites October 6, bolstering the buzz surrounding his forthcoming post-retirement LP, 'Kingdom Come'.
"I am overwhelmed with the initial record breaking response!! I am happy to be officially Back," said the emcee/president of Def Jam Records. According to the label, 'Show Me what you got' has over 16 million listeners and is already the number one most increased on the R&B/Hip Hop chart, debuting at the 39 bullet on the R&R/BDS Urban Chart. The song will officially be fed to radio October 16, the same day Jay-Z's F. Gary directed video, featuring NASCAR drivers Dale Earnhardt Jr. and Danica Patrick, debuts. Filmed in Monaco, the piece includes scenic shots taken from ground level and above.
There's more. Jay-Z's Global Express Tour, which morphed into an arm of the United Nations and MTV's 'Water For Life' campaign, is being documented and condensed into Diary of JAY-Z: Water for Life, which airs November 24, three days after 'Kingdom Come' hits retail. Photos and diary entrees, including those from Jay-Z's recent stop in Africa, are posted at mtv.com.
More? The mogul, and part owner of the NBA's New Jersey Nets, is featured in TNT's NBA related 'Let The Truth Be Told' ad campaign. Eight thirty second spots find Jay-Z sharing his thoughts on competition, talent, stardom and legacy, as he's chaffered around Manhattan. The campaign seeks to compare the journeys of world-class athletes and world famous entertainment moguls. Jay-Z's 'Let The Truth Be Told' ads began airing October 5 and will run out over the next few weeks leading up to his album release date. An extended director's cut of the interview will be available through TNT Overtime at NBA.com.
