If the alblum has like 8-10 hot tracks (which is very rare) then buy the whole alblum... Album sales are not everything, fans look into the cometition, while the artist has to worry about what he doing for his lable. It's all about money, jim jones gets way more paper on an independant lable than most these cats that are at major lables. If the platinum artist were to go to an indie and sale 400,000 he would make just as much as an artist on a major who sold 1.5 million, jim gets 7-8 dollars off of just sales, do the math (350,000 x $7.50= $2,625,000) he dont have to go gold to see what platinum artist see
