I agree w/ tron, mos's last album was weak, a real disappointment. His lyrics over the rock n roll beats were subpar. Please mos keep the same formula you had on black on both sides (except for the last min. Or os on rock and roll). Shyt just do a part 2 to every song on that joint (that should be your next mixtape) mos def fan for life. O n e.

No doubt, mos. It's was a few gems on the new danger though (i believe i'm the only one out there that thinks so). I didn't feel some of the beats, but i'm a "lyric first" type of dude. I just hope that he uppercuts these lame artists and an administration that can't be criticized enough!! every artist should have at least 2 songs dissin these clowns on their album.

Glad to see the excitement for a new mos album, but 'the new danger' wasn't weak at all in my humble opinion. Sometimes i feel like a lot of you folks are afraid to grow with an artist you like. All n*ggas want is 'reaosnable doubt,' 'pieces of a man,' 'black on both sides.' i know hh is minute made these days, but if these cats are really as great as you've said then why not give experimental new sh*t a real shot? that last mos album is F*ck*n dope, pardon my french. To paraphrase tiki barber: please get a F*ck*n clue on how to be a music fan!. Listen to more than hip hop people! the sh*t came from somewhere. And a lot of those roots can be found in other genres of music.

A new mos def album is much needed in hip hop right now. I heard him on the track bin laden with immortal technique and he and i.t sounded dope. People can't be expecting another black on both sides cuz that was a classic the new danger was very average but i think tru magic will be his most political charged album yet.
